"...Do Something Different"

Img_1056 According to speaker, author and fellow blogger Graham Jones, "If you want your presentation to be recalled by your audience, do something different." That's great advice - and I want to tell you about something different you can do with handouts.

A lot of us rely on PowerPoint® presentations every day. But what kind of handouts do you have?

ZoomAlbum™ Creator software Version 1.09 has a feature that allows you to import PowerPoint slides so you can print them in this neat little album. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try it out. It's pretty cool and it may just be the unique leavebehind that will make your audience remember you and your product or service. Just think, a custom printed cover and 12 color slides highlighting your key points. The possibilities are endless.

Check it out. You can make 'em yourself or download the software, import the slides and have a quantity of albums made at the  "You Pic 'em, We Print 'em" Online Store. Here's the easy instructions.

Let Them Eat Cake

WeddingcakeOnce the nuptials are complete, we move on to the wedding reception. The cutting and eating of the wedding cake by the bride and groom is a time-honored tradition. Then we all get to partake in the sweet dessert.

Here is a beautiful example of a wedding cake. This picture would make a great addition to your photo album.

What kind of cake did you have at your wedding? Or maybe you're planning right now - have you decided on a cake yet?

Take a look at these links about wedding cakes and wedding planning.

ZoomAlbum™ is "a Good Thing"

Photocoverbday1 To borrow Martha Stewart's favorite phrase: it's a "Good Thing."  Every time I show off a ZoomAlbum™ to relatives or friends, somebody wants a copy. It's really been a timesaver for me to save all my projects with a new name. That way I can go back and print them as needed.

This unique album works really well for events and holidays where there are a lot of people in attendance who would each like copies of the same photos. It makes a nice remembrance of the day.

Here are some interesting sites:

What's Buggin' You?

BugMy two- and five-year-old grandkids are thrilled with bugs of all types. Since I don't get to see them very often, I'm making ZoomAlbum™s filled with pictures of bugs we took together. It's an easy way to bridge the distance between us and they remember what fun we had that day.

Here's some neat sites about bugs.

How Does Your Garden Grow?

ZagardFlowers in springtime are gorgeous. In fact, flowers are gorgeous anytime of the year. But after a gray winter, flowers exploding with color are like sweet nectar for our eyes and imagination.

This is a busy time of year for nurseries, gardeners, landscapers, and hobbyists as they become artists on Mother Nature's canvas. A great way to capture this beauty forever is with a ZoomAlbum.

There are many ways to use ZoomAlbum, either professionally or simply a way to capture the moments.

How could ZoomAlbumbe used?

  • Florists:  as a presentation of your inventory.
  • Landscapers: as a Before and After of your work
  • Photogrpahers: as a portfolio
  • Gardeners: for handouts in local contests

We'd love to see some of these folks use ZoomAlbum™ and tell us what they think. Want to give ZoomAlbum a try? Download the software.

Attention Bloggers: We'd love to send you a few sample kits while supplies last. Email us and let us know how many kits you'd like and your blog site address (we'd enjoy linking to you on our blogroll).

While we aren't sure if these folks are using ZoomAlbum(yet), we love watching their gardens grow via their blogs. Check 'em out:
